  • phase 1: some development.

The journey begins with Business Development Workshops, a broad-reaching phase that opens its doors to all program applicants. This stage is the foundation, equipping attendees with invaluable insights into the realms of e-commerce and traditional brick-and-mortar retailing. Through these workshops, participants gain knowledge and skills crucial for fostering growth in the modern retail environment.

This program intensively nurtures these businesses, providing vital resources like website development and personal branding, to name a few. The aim is to sculpt these budding ventures into their best versions, preparing them for the limelight in the fast-paced world of retail. It is this preparation that ensures they are primed for success in the subsequent phase of the journey.

The grand finale of "In Her Bag" features not one, but two spectacular Pop-Ups: one in the vibrant Soho district of NYC and the other at DX3, Canada's largest retail conference. These events mark the pinnacle moments for our top 10 entrepreneurs. Far more than just temporary retail spaces, these Pop-Ups are vibrant celebrations of womanhood, ambition, and entrepreneurship.

In NYC, our launch night becomes a beacon, drawing together the diverse and dynamic women of the city for an evening rich in community, collaboration, and empowerment. At DX3, our entrepreneurs step into Canada’s foremost retail stage, connecting with industry leaders and influencers.

These culminations provide an unmatched platform for brand exposure, placing our entrepreneurs at the heart of both the bustling Soho scene and the influential DX3 conference. Moreover, participants will be included in our exclusive "Stakeholder Deck," distributed to retail partners, buyers, funders, VCs, and more.
